Virtus Training
All instructors and volunteers within the Diocese of Savannah are required to take and maintain Virtus Training. This training is a protection for our children, disabled and impaired Parish members. All certificates are to be turned in to the SSFMCC Office Manager as well as kept up to date. Failure to maintain this training will remove you from any and all positions within the Diocese. Eucharistic Adoration
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 11:00AM to 12:00PM, Wednesday's from 5:00PM to 6:00PM. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by volunteers who sign up for one hour or more to pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance.

Eucharistic Minister
Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound. Please email the Office Manager for more details.

Altar Server
Boys and girls from grade 3 and above who assist the priest at the liturgy.

Lector Readers
Reader who proclaim the Scriptures at Mass and other services. Please email the Office Manager for more details.

Offertory Counters
A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. Please email the Office Manager for more details.

Music MinistryList Item 1
Join together in song, under the talented direction of our choir director. Rehearsals will be before each Mass.

Greeters / Ushers
Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass or who assist people to their seat if necessary.

Finance Council
Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

Special Events Committee
Volunteers who coordinate social activities and gatherings of parishioners during the year.

Flowers and Grounds
Volunteers who care for and beautify the grounds and church. Please email the Office Manager for more details.

Parish Pastoral Council
The PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of St. Stephen Parish.

Liturgical Linen Service
Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens. Please email the Office Manager for more details.

Usher
Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection.

Sacristan
Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.
